The Screw-Sort Puzzle Everyone Loves
Bolt Buddies turns the viral screw-packing puzzle into a bright toy box. The board is covered in colorful bolts, some stacked two deep. Tap a bolt on top and it flies into the gift box of its color — fill a box with three and it pops away with a happy jingle.
Clear every last bolt to win the level. Simple to learn, sneakily strategic to master.
Holding Holes Are Gold
Only two boxes are open at a time, so bolts of other colors wait in the tiny holding holes. Run out of holes with no matching box open and you are stuck — but a friendly undo button is always right there.
- Tap the top bolt of any stack to pick it up
- Bolts fly to their color box automatically
- Three of a color ships the box and opens the next one
- One optional reward adds an extra holding hole for tricky boards
What You Do

Tips for Players
Finish the box that is already half-full before starting a new color.
Keep at least one holding hole empty for surprises under stacks.
Bolts under another bolt cannot move — clear the tops first.
If stuck, undo two or three moves and finish a different box first.
Controls
- Tap a bolt on top of its stack
- Tap Undo if the holding holes fill up
- Big bolts and big buttons for small fingers

Accessibility note
Bolts are large, distinctly colored circles with both emoji faces and unique hues, and only top bolts respond to taps. There is no timer, undo is unlimited, and all actions are single taps with big targets.
Questions & Answers
If no open box matches any free bolt, the level offers undo or a restart — nothing is lost.
