About This Game

What is Puffy Bird?

Puffy Bird is a cheerful free flying game for kids starring the roundest, puffiest bird in the sky. Every tap gives a little flap, and gravity does the rest. Slip through the candy-cane gates to score — one point per gate!

The rules fit on a feather: tap to flap, thread the gaps, keep flying. But the rhythm is delightfully tricky, and beating your best score becomes an obsession for the whole family.

A kinder flap

Puffy Bird keeps the classic flap-and-dodge fun but softens the edges for kids. Gates are wide, the pace starts gentle, and bumping a candy cane simply ends the run with a poof of feathers — then the retry button is right there.

Feeling brave mid-run? There is an optional second-wind continue that clears the skies ahead once per flight. It is totally optional and never required to enjoy the game.

Tips for Players

Small steady taps beat panicked flapping — find the rhythm of the sky.

Aim for the middle of each gap and start lining up the next gate early.

The bird tilts with speed: when the beak points down, a tap is coming due.

Save your second wind for a long run, not the practice rounds.

Controls

  • Tap anywhere to flap
  • Short taps for small hops, quick taps to climb

Accessibility note

The whole game is one button — tap, click, or Space — and gates use bold red-and-white contrast. There are no sudden sounds, and bumping a gate ends gently with a feather poof.
