About This Game

Fishing Day, Every Day

Reel Friends brings the fishing-sim trend to little anglers. Tap the water to cast — your hook sinks into the blue while fish wiggle past. Slide to steer, dodge nothing, chase everything: on the way up, every fish you touch hops happily into your bucket.

Back at the surface, your catch turns into coins, and coins turn into gear: a longer rod, a faster reel, a bigger bucket.

Deeper, Shinier, Friendlier

The deeper you fish, the rarer the friends: sunnyfish near the top, puffballs and smiley-sharks below, and the wiggly octopus in the twilight zone. Each depth record is a celebration, and the water darkens beautifully as you descend.

  • Tap to cast; slide to steer the hook
  • Touch fish on the way up to catch them
  • Sell the catch for coins automatically
  • Upgrade rod, reel, and bucket between casts

What You Do

  1. 1Cast the line and steer the sinking hook
  2. 2Scoop fish into your bucket on the way up
  3. 3Earn coins and buy rod, reel, and bucket upgrades
  4. 4Reach new depths and meet rarer fish
  5. 5Fill your collection with finny friends

Tips for Players

Upgrade the rod first — deeper water means rarer, pricier fish.

The bucket fills fast early on; a bigger bucket pays for itself quickly.

Fish wiggle on predictable lines — sweep across the water instead of chasing.

New depth records are worth celebrating: each one unlocks a cheer and bonus progress.

Controls

  • Tap the water to cast
  • Slide your finger to steer
  • Big upgrade buttons at the dock

Accessibility note

Steering is a single gentle slide with a wide hook target, fish are large high-contrast emoji, and there is no way to fail a cast — an empty bucket simply means a free recast. The depth meter gives a clear visual progress cue.

Questions & Answers

Not at all — fish hop into the bucket for a visit, get counted, and swim back out at the dock. It is catch-and-cuddle.
